Frequently asked questions

At the higher production tiers, ARF-grade builds follow the original reference closely in case dimensions, finishing standards, and material specification — including 904L-grade steel, ceramic components, and sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Rehaut engraving, dial printing, and movement architecture are all benchmarked against the original reference rather than approximated. Our reviews cover the specific criteria where execution quality varies between production runs — which is where the real differences between a strong example and an average one become apparent.

Water resistance varies by configuration. Dive-oriented builds are typically rated to 300m with pressure-tested case construction, screw-down crowns, and case back seals verified before dispatch. Non-diver configurations generally run to 50–100m — sufficient for rain, swimming, and daily water exposure. Our reviews note the specific water resistance rating and construction standard for each reference we cover.

The primary differences are in material specification, case geometry accuracy, movement regulation quality, and finishing consistency. Higher-grade factory builds use materials that match or closely approximate the original — 904L steel, ceramic, sapphire crystal — while standard replicas substitute cheaper alternatives that show wear more quickly. Movement regulation is the other major differentiator — a properly regulated movement performs consistently across wearing positions over months of use, where an unregulated one drifts. Our build reviews assess all of these criteria specifically rather than making general quality claims.

ARFWatches.com does not sell or ship products. For shipping information, refer to the sourcing platforms we reference — ARFWatches.cn and SwissClones.cn both provide current shipping, transit time, and packaging information for their orders.

Warranty and return terms are determined by the sourcing platform rather than by ARFWatches.com. We recommend reviewing the specific terms on ARFWatches.cn or SwissClones.cn before making any acquisition decision. Our editorial coverage focuses on build quality assessment rather than commercial terms.

Customisation options vary by production run and are outside the scope of our editorial coverage.
